Hytale Update 6 Has Arrived

The Hytale Update 6 has arrived with a new wave of major improvements. Between new features and improved creation tools, this update continues to strengthen the game’s foundations during Early Access.

Discover mods directly in Hytale

One of the biggest new features is the arrival of the mod browser built directly into the game.

Players can now discover community creations without leaving Hytale. Mods can be searched and filtered by category, while their pages show descriptions, screenshots, download counts, and compatible game versions.

Installing a mod now takes just a few clicks.

The new My Library section also lets you find all your installed mods, download their updates, or remove the ones you no longer need.

This is only the first version of the system, which should continue to evolve alongside Hytale’s modding ecosystem.

More powerful tools for builders

Update 6 also brings major improvements to the building tools.

Builders can now work with selections of up to 16 million blocks, making it possible to manipulate much larger structures and environments.

Hytale is also introducing a new compact format for saving large builds. Combined with performance improvements to copy, cut, paste, and save operations, working on ambitious projects should now be much faster.
